The Myanmar military has carried out ongoing airstrikes on Buthidaung Township in Arakan State since around 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, according to local reports.
Sources said three jet fighters and one Y-12 aircraft were involved in the aerial operation, which is still underway at the time of reporting.
Details regarding casualties and damage remain unclear, as assessments and verification efforts are ongoing.
