Myanmar military aircraft reportedly carried out two airstrikes on Kyauk Chon Village in Gwa Township, Arakan, late on the night of June 14, causing damage to civilian property, according to local sources.
Residents said the strikes were conducted by military jet aircraft at approximately 11:55 p.m. and 12:03 a.m. local time.
The reported attacks damaged several structures in the village, including a local school and a residential house belonging to U Tin Kyo. A cattle shed owned by U Kyaw San Aung was also reportedly destroyed, while one cow was killed during the incident.
No casualties among civilians were immediately reported.
In a separate incident, local sources stated that on June 8, a Myanmar Navy vessel fired at least 10 artillery shells toward mountainous areas near Kyeintali Town in Gwa Township.
Residents and local observers alleged that the military has continued conducting air and artillery strikes in civilian-populated areas across Arakan amid the ongoing conflict. They claimed that villages and towns with no direct involvement in active fighting have increasingly been affected by military operations.
The reported incidents could not be independently verified. No immediate response or statement from the Myanmar military was available at the time of publication.
